Westpac
Westpac was interested in using VR technology to experiment with different branch layout options, without having to do a physical build and asked us to help realise this idea.

Initially we made a digital version of their North West branch from existing architectural designs and then imported it into the Unity Game engine, for viewing through the Oculus Rift and GearVR headsets. Then we developed a method of locomotion using just the headset that allowed the user to move around the branch without external controls.

AJ Hackett
AJ Hackett wanted a virtual reality experience for The Nevis, NZ’s highest bungy jump, to help convert prospective jumpers into paying customers.

Since 2020 was such a tough year, the supermarket giant decided to create a little joy for families and make a $5 donation to the Salvation Army for every photo shared on social media. Not to mention have some fun with family and friends along the way!

Auckland Transport
At Waxeye, we believe in the power of technology to make the world a better place. Our curiosity led us to partner with Auckland Transport, creating five engaging VR modules that help learner drivers master road safety and navigate common hazards.
